Hi, Tweets

Bill and I did the first count for the Monroe Swift Watch last night at the Frank Wagner School. There was a bit of light rain off and on, but it stopped before sunset. Just before sunset we had a small group of 12, but they continued on to somewhere. About 12 minutes after sunset (8:12pm) a swirling bunch of swifts arrived and before long headed down the chimney. At just about dark, 2 more dove into the chimney. A good night with 214 Vaux's swifts in all.

Cheers, Diann
