Hi everyone,

I spent a couple hours this morning walking around Three Forks.? The best bird of the day was a NASHVILLE WARBLER, which gave great looks after it flew into a tree about 15 feet away .? It was seen just east of the intersection of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and the trail from the off-leash dog area to the field made famous last summer by the Indigo Bunting (I will be watching closely this year to see if it returns) . ? This?was my first of this species at Three Forks .? I also had FOY (for this location) Lincoln's Sparrow, Osprey and Savannah Sparrow.? The humorous highlight of the morning was a Red-breasted Sapsucker pounding away on a trail sign by the river bridge , making a racket that could be heard for almost ?half a mile down the trail.?

After leaving Three Forks, I checked out the horse ranch near Fall City (intersection of Redmond-Fall City Rd./Hwy 202 and 308th) and found two Greater Yellowlegs working the flooded fields.? One was in the field near 202 across from the Little League ballpark, and the other a bit farther down (north on)?308th, just before it takes the 90 degree turn to the right.
