Fellow Tweeters,

A perfect day at Goldendale. The sun and warm weather allowed my husband
and I to work in the yard while Western Bluebirds were checking out nest
boxes, with Violet-green swallows circling above, and Mountain Chickadees
and Dark-eyed Juncos gathering nesting materials. This evening, while
dining on the porch, Pygmy Nuthatches started arriving at the feeders. They
usually arrive some time after the 80+ Evening Grosbeaks head out for the
night. Cassin's, American, and Lesser Goldfinches have been in and out all
day. The White-headed Woodpeckers along with Hairy, Downy, and Northern
Flickers are still regulars in the yard. We also had our first
Yellow-rumped Warbler of the season appear today. It can't get much better
than this.

My favorite weather is bird-chirping weather.
