All,

Tina and I spent the weekend filling some big gaps in our Ferry County
lists. We concentrated on the migrating waterfowl and checking out Swawilla
Basin area. We found House Sparrows (pretty tough to find in Ferry County!)
in Curlew next to the post office. We found Yellow-Headed Blackbird at Mud
Lake and at Tiger Trail marsh near Republic. On Lake Roosevelt in the
Swawilla Basin, we had a single Pacific Loon (non-breeding plumage) and a
single Bonaparte's Gull (breeding plumage). On Swawilla Road we had a Gray
Flycatcher. Yellow-Rumped Warblers were found at nearly all stops along
the Sanpoil River.

Good Birding!

Rick
