One LEAST SANDPIPER was in the Edmonds marsh this morning (4-19-10),
seen from the path near the tennis courts. This is a first-of-year
bird for spring migration. It was feeding with a Killdeer. Other
birds in the area were lots of Green-winged Teal and a few Mallards.
Of note on the Sound, the two MARBLED MURRELETS were near the pier
again this morning and a COOPER'S HAWK was near the hatchery.
