the count of hatchings is up now to three with four likely, but i could not
be certain. mom fed them at about 3:30 this afternoon, but she stationed
herself between viewers and the scrape. there are half-egg shells all over
the place. the kids appeared voracious, and one kept hollering after she
took the food away. the three evident could be obscuring either an egg or
a nestmate.
