Hi,
At last the mystery of the two swan reports in Kent is solved. A fellow
biologist went down to check out the report of the injured swan on 212th in
Kent as well as the one in a housing development/golf course ponds close by
to the other site. It turns out it is one swan. This plucky juvenile is
flying between the fields on 212th and roosting at the ponds at night.
So, if you see this bird anywhere else, please let me know. Or, if
something changes with its status-- it does have a limp, let me know that
too.
