Album NameFemale Brown-headed Cowbird. They've just shown up for the summer. They are always a cause of confusion, though the juveniles in a couple of months, are even worse.

Unidentified gray bird at Theler 4/22/2010
Sam and Lynn has shared photos with you.

Help! I saw these birds at Theler Wetlands today, but don't know what I'm looking at. I don't even know if the two birds are the same species, although they were in nearby trees along the river trail. Both birds sat still on a branch for quite a while preening and looking around. I thought they looked like blackbirds (there were many about), but I'm having trouble figuring them out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Sam TooleyTacoma, WAtooleys at comcast.net
