Two Townsend's Solitaires today in a small clearcut area surrounded by Fort
Lewis lands (Joint Base Lewis-McChord in the parlance of the times), very
near the corner of Waldrick Road and Military Road, close to Rainier,
Washington. These two birds stuck together as they flew from one spot to
another. Last I saw them, they were making foraging flights to a low holly
that had red berries on it, fluttering in the foliage as they apparently ate
berries.

Early morning walk in Disco Park (Sunday). Single Townsend's Solitaire in
the row of trees in front of the houses near the big white dome.
