Sunday afternoon was an exceptional one in the yard. It started out with a brief look at a MacGillivray's Warbler. I got out the camera and went hunting but it never re-apeared. But soon I heard a familiar call and looked up to see my foy Brown-headed Cowbirds, three males and a female. After a while the White-throated Sparrow that I had glimpsed off and on for a day or so popped up and pleaded with me to take it's picture and I did. Well, this started a parade of the regulars and while I was entertaining them an Orange-crowned Warbler stopped to bath in the creek at my feet, almost too close to photograph.

So far the best shoot of the month. All of April's efforts are on pbase.
