Linda and Tweeters,

Check out the following brief Vancouver birding guide on the Nature
Vancouver website:

http://www.naturevancouver.ca/Birding_Birding_Sites

FYI, this link is attached to every copy of the Vancouver RBA that I send to
TWEETERS.

This is an "in-brief" birding site guide. There is also a 240-page book
entitled "The Birder's Guide to Vancouver and the Lower Mainland". It was
published in 2001, but is now out of print. However, the book is currently
under revision and should be re-issued within a year. We will certainly let
TWEETERS know when it is published.

Finally, there is a chapter on Vancouver in "A Birder's Guide to the
Metropolitan Areas of North America", published by the ABA in 2001. I
believe this book is still in print. It is a book of which EVERY travelling
birder in North America should have a copy.

All the best,

Wayne C. Weber

Hi Tweeters,
Friends of mine are going on an Alaskan Cruise in a few weeks. I am
driving them to the cruise terminal in Vancouver BC. I want to do some
birding on my way back home. Can any of you give me some recommendations.
Thanks in advance
