I wonder if it was one of the?pair which have built a nest in the cell phone tower behind Dunn's lumber on Hwy. 99 just north of 168th St. in Lynnwood.??? I have only seen one osprey diving off Sunset Ave., and it was chased out over the sound by the resident eagles.??I am glad to her that the?eagles have not completely discouraged?osprey from fishing in Edmonds.

Subject: [Tweeters] Flatfish for Osprey's lunch

Mid-day, as we worked out in our garden we were treated to a low fly-by by an OSPREY heading east up?from the beach flats about a mile north of Edmonds ferry dock.? A clearly silhouetted medium-sized flatfish was clutched in its talons.? In the past week I am again seeing an osprey cruising the shoreline nearly every day, always a treat.
