hello all:

the peregrine chicks are progressing nicely. dad sulked for a day or so
when mom ran him off when he volunteered feeding duties (she came to the
scrape, took the carcass and flew off and cached it =-= he stood there
dumbfounded and finally flew off and left for a couple days, leaving her to
do her own hunting). he has returned to his assigned duties. the scrape
and occupants are usually clearly visible now, but if it's rainy, mist and
drizzle can build up between the sidewalk and the other side of the river.
on weekends, the earlier the better unless you're comfortable with crowds of
ninnies. the viewing platform is being demolished, which doesn't help
things a lot.

regards,

t
