Hi all,

I've had some birding by ear questions for long enough that I thought I'd
post them to the group for help on.
I apologize if I missed the information in an earlier post.

Can you help me learn to distinguish or do you know of a good resource for
learning to distinguish:

--The call notes of Ruby-Crowned Kinglet vs. Golden-Crowned Kinglet vs.
Brown Creeper
I know the Ruby-Crowned's call note "ki-dit" but do they also have a high
pitched call? I am already able to distinguish their songs.

--The songs of Townsend Warbler vs. Black-Throated Grey Warbler

--I am also curious if it is possible to distinguish the different warblers
by their chip notes alone. The Common Yellow Throat call is quite distinct,
but are there other warbler call notes that one can learn to recognize?

Finally, on a slightly different topic, I am looking for a resource for
Washington State or the Puget Sound area that contains the migration records
and averages for different species of birds.
