Hello All,

Just a note to invite you to a first ever Potholes Pelagic Birding trip aboard a stable pontoon boat. There is room for 9 folks on this WOS fieldtrip out on the waters of Potholes Reservoir. This is a great time of year to see shorebirds, gulls, jeagers and terns. Lots of good birding. Come join in. E-MAIL ME AND SIGN UP. First nine to sign up are on the boat. I will keep an alternate list after the first nine sign up just in case someone has to drop out.


Who is invited: Any WOS member in good standing.
When: 11 Sept.2010
Where: Mardon Resort along the south shore of Pothole Res. along SR 262 three miles east of Potholes State Park, eleven miles west of Hwy 17.
Departure Time: 6:30 AM from Mardon Resort marina
Returning Time:1:00 PM to Mardon Resort marina
Number of Birders: 9 confirmed before trip departs.
Cost: $60:00 per. person, paid directly to Mardon Resort before the trip.

Species to watch look for: Common Tern, Sabine's Gull, Parasitic Jaeger, Long-tailed Jaeger, Stilt Sandpiper, American Golden Plover and much more. This is the first trip of this type on Potholes Reservoir. Later Mike Denny
