This morning my mother saw a Phalarope at the fill at about 11, and brought
me down to see it later. It was still on the main pond at 1:30, and I expect
it still is there. It looked like it was transitioning from breeding to
non-breeding plumage. This is a late migration and since last year there
were more than one of these guys, I expect more to be dropping in soon.
