Hi all -

I'm heading up to Banff and Jasper National Parks for a week starting Friday
and would appreciate any birding tips. I surfed around a bit and found some
links off Cam McDonald's site but didn't find a lot. We're driving up,
probably via Sandpoint, Idaho and back through Kamloops although we haven't
decided for sure so if there are any good spots on the way up or back I'd
like to hear about those too. I'm happy to see anything but am particularly
interested in Spruce Grouse, White-tailed Ptarmigan (I know, long shots),
Boreal Chickadee, Northern Three-toed Woodpecker. We won't have time to head
off into the prairies by Calgary but if there are any good Longspur spots
along the route I'd go a bit out of my way.

Thanks.
