As Dianne Moore stated we only got a brief look at the Hudsonian Godwit.At her request here is a complete list for the day. I think the day set a record for me for the number of shorebirds I have ever seen in one day. I had to run down to Midway Beach and Tokeland just to run the numbers up a little for the day. So here is my list for the day 22 species in all.

1 unknown species of sandpiper (If someone who is good with shorebirds would like to contact me off line I would love to give a description). The closest bird is a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper. But it wasn't a Sharp-tailed.
