Subject: [Tweeters] Shoreline Northern Waterthrush continues

The Northern Waterthrush remained at Twin Ponds Park in Shoreline as of
11.15 this morning, at the mud patch by the SW corner of the ponds, exactly
as previously described. I waited around 50 minutes before he showed himself
- maybe he just doesn't like crowds, because he popped out about 5 minutes
after most people left and only us two of us remained. There was no response
at all to the iPod someone played repeatedly. The call note he gave most
often when he hopped or flew was loud and distinctive, and the first clue as
to which end of the mud he was lurking at.

Many thanks to Marc for finding and reporting this bird, and to Bill for his
excellent directions.
