Every time I think I've seen all the birds that can be seen in my own backyard,
something always shows up to prove me wrong. This weekend, we were fortunate
enough to have a Spruce Grouse hanging out in our meadow. A life for me! Whoo
hoo! No photos, unfortunately, as the only viewing was going to or from town on
errands. Nice rusty eyebrow and white feather tips.
