Hello Tweeters,
I decided going to the Wetlands in Fife called the Sportsco ponds. In the
past last winter driving by going every Day to see the Black-tailed
Gull. There was always large amount of Canada Geese and Ducks .

I got there at 1.30 this afternoon and there where still some birders
there,We all missed the Semipalmated Sandpiper and the Semipalmated
Plover. But with all the changing switching the ponds we had mostly all the
birds what been sighted..I did not bring my camera and could had some close
shots of the Pectoral and the Solitary Sandpiper,(real close )
Here are the birds we saw,

Mallard 1
Killdeer 3
Greater Yellowlegs 2
Lesser Yellowlegs 2
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Baird Sandpipers 3
Western Snappier 5
Least Sandpiper 4
Red necked PHALAROPE 1
Solitary Sandpiper 1
Pectoral Sandpiper 1
It is good that so many birders went after Ryan Shaw posted his birds
there,If this ponds staying wet more Species of Shorebirds can stop over
there like maybe a Ruff and Golden Plovers.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
