Last night as I was going to bed around 10:00, I heard out my window a call
that was completely unfamiliar, and I'm hoping I can describe it well enough
that someone may be able to ID it.

The call was a series of 8-10 quick dropping whistles, about 1 per second,
with each whistle having a drop in pitch of about a musical fourth, fairly
high-pitched but not close to the edge of my hearing range. After each set
of whistles, there'd be silence of several minutes, then a repeated set.

The sound was coming from about 20-30' up in a tree (not sure which tree or
type) in a regular Seattle neighborhood next to Lincoln Park in West
Seattle.

Any ideas?
