Thanks to many of you who correced my misidentification of the possible Pectoral Sandpiper as a non-breeding Spotted Sandpiper. I have lots of excuses but I guess I just plain missed this one. Never having seen one in non-breeding plumage before is my best excuse. My second best is I photographed a Pectoral Sanpiper in the exact location last year and figured it for a returnee. Oh well, if it were easy, it wouldn't be so much fun.
