My dad sent me an email with pic attached that he took in his back yard in the Fauntleroy (SW Seattle) area around 29 August, of a Yellow-crowned Bishop (aka Golden Bishop). He'd sent an email with the pic to a woman recommended by the Audubon, who ID'd it for him and suggested it almost had to be an escapee/release. I thought some of you might find it interesting. A very pretty bird, bright yellow and black.
