We made the trip to Brady Loop this morning.? There was a brisk breeze blowing so we didn't get out of the car much.? The Trumpeter Swans are still there as are many Dunlin?in most of the flooded fields.? We tried hard to find the prairie falcon but I don't think we did.? There was one bird that was eating something on a telephone pole but the sun was in the wrong posistion for a positive ID.? There are many Northern Harriers flying around - spooking the dunlin from time to time.? At one time we watched two birds diving down toward the dunlin but?they were?way to far for even a guess at what they could be.? We also saw a couple pairs of Kestrals hunting from the fence posts.? I hesitate to say that we saw two Western Scrub Jays!?

We were suprised to see a lone rough-legged hawk flying around.? I don't think I've seen one that far south before so I thought I would mention it.

We also made a quick trip to Friends Landing to see if the red-shoulder hawk was still there but no luck.? Just a Redtail hawk soaring over the tree tops.

In regards to the swans at Mill Pond in Snoqualmie - there were 6 there last weekend.

Have a good evening
