I've been birding now since 2006 and I have never seen a Eurasian-collared Dove in my backyard - north side Vaughn Bay on Key Peninsula. I see them quite often in Sequim so the bird is not a rarity, but I thought I'd report my first sighting in my location for those who are interested in this species and the areas it populates. Hopefully this sole bird will chow down on the cracked corn I put in the back yard for pigeons and doves and stop by more often.
