Subject: [Tweeters] spam via Tweeters?

I got the same message and I see this happen quite often.? A virus/trojan
horse/spider/whatever hacks into someone's e-mail address book, copies all of
their contacts, then sends out spam to these contacts using the person's
name.??? Once I got such a spam message from myself.

If the sender is not someone you recognize who would be sending you an e-mail or
if the title is gibberish, then delte it without?opening ?it like you did. ???

Subject: [Tweeters] spam via Tweeters?

Dear Tweeters,

A message came to me today with "[Tweeters]" in "From" line, but with a subject
line made up of nonsense words: "irv mvl ahvef." The message consisted of
nothing but a link to a website, so of course I deleted the message without
clicking on the link. The sender of this message was, ostensibly, Rupert Grove
<rupertgrove at msn.com.

Would this be legitimate, spam, or worse?

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch? ?? Near Lyman, Washington (Skagit County), USA? ??
