Hi Tweets,

Barbara and I joined Joyce Meyer and Mike West last Monday, December 6, for
a trip into the Snoqualmie Valley. We began our day in King County, working
our way south from the vicinity of Novelty Hill Rd and NE 124th St to cover
the Carnation area, then north past Duvall as far as the Tualco Rd area in
Snohomish County. The weather was generally overcast with light rain at
points, and temps varied between the upper 30s and the mid 40s.

We found good numbers of waterfowl, including 8 TRUMPETER SWANS, and a lone
SNOW GOOSE. We also found a good suite of raptors: a few BALD EAGLES, two
accipiters (SHARP-SHINNED and COOPER'S), a single showy ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK, a
dozen or more RED-TAILS, an AMERICAN KESTREL, and a MERLIN.
