Hi, Tweets!

All the *gull electrocuted (or not) in Seattle* talk reminds me of
something I saw a short while ago.

I was driving west on NE 75th in the Wedgwood area of Seattle. At the
very top of the hill, right by Eckstein Middle School at about 31st NE,
a crow flew in front of me. He, too, was going east to west. But here's
the amazing thing: it literally slalomed down the street, down the hill,
dipping between the wires that crossed the street north to south. Up and
down, over and under. Naturally, it couldn't keep to absolutely every
other wire, but it was clearly giving itself a challenge, having a good
time. And the crow made it all the way down.

On my way back up the hill later, I counted the wires that the crow had
passed through. There were 60 or more in that six-block stretch. That's
a lot of wires to slalom through!

Oh, those crazy corvids.

Keep watching!
