today, monday my wife and i accompanied by john puschock made the journey..john from seattle and we from brush prairie to try to find the mckinleyville, ca brown shrike.
we arrived at the site at about 1:30 and john had us on the bird in 10 minutes!!..an 8 hour rainy drive from brush prairie and a 10 minute search in overcast but dry skies
