Subject: [Tweeters] Join the Seattle CBC on January 1, 2011

Hi Tweets,

Following Dan Reiff's email (who is recruiting for participants for the Mercer Island subarea), I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that we would welcome participants throughout the Seattle CBC circle.

We have recorded an average of 121 species in the 7.5 mile radius CBC circle since 1976. In the last four years, we have had some interesting surprises like Trumpeter Swan, Rock Sandpiper, Townsend?s Solitaire, Common Redpoll and Red-naped Sapsucker. With the winter that is expected, you NEVER know what will show up: there are already Bohemian Waxwings at Magnuson Park!

DETAILS:
Date: Saturday, January 1st. Registration will close on December 22nd.
To learn more and to sign-up online, please visit http://bit.ly/fpapHw

NOTE: the CBC potluck will NOT be at CUH. All participants are welcome to join us at Wedgwood Presbyterian Church for the compilation and potluck (soup will be provided) from 5-7pm (8008 35th Avenue Northeast, same block as the SAS office).

Hope you can join us!

Adam
