Actually this time of year when there is a lot of snow on the ground, it is
not that unusual to see both Gray Partridges and Ring-necked Pheasants
scattered about the roads in Lincoln and surrounding counties. And if it
has been really cold, they can sit there almost paralyzed before they move.
Sometimes they don't move which has an unfortunate ending.
