Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

The North Portland TUFTED DUCK continues to be seen in the scaup flocks on
the Columbia River.

A late YELLOWTHROAT was seen December 14 at Millicoma Marsh near Coos Bay. A
very late HEERMANN?S GULL, a SABINE?S GULL, 170 KITTIWAKES, and 341 ANCIENT
MURRELETS were off Boiler Bay December 14

On December 13 a very late HOUSE WREN was at Ridgefield NWR. The next day 13
TREE SWALLOWS, two BARN SWALLOWS, two CINNAMON TEAL, a BLACK PHOEBE, and
six TRUMPETER SWANS were on the refuge. The Sauvie Island BOBOLINK continues
to be seen at the end of Rentenaar Road. On December 14 four CINNAMON TEAL,
two ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS, and a NORTHERN SHRIKE were in Scappoose Bottoms. A
ROSS?S GOOSE was in Delta Park in North Portland December 12. The two ACORN
WOODPECKERS continue to be seen there. At the Fernhill Wetlands December 10
were 68 MOUNING DOVES, 16 COLLARED-DOVES, the female RED-BREASTED MERGANSER,
and two GREEN HERONS. A SAY?S PHOEBE was in McMinnville December 10.

On December 14 a young gray phased GYRFALCON being harassed by a PRAIRIE
FALCON was near Tangent. On December 11 a TURKEY VULTURE was near Lebanon.
Up to 11 VULTURES are being seen west of Eugene in the Fern Ridge area.

On December 9 a CLARK?S NUTCRACKER was along the Columbia River at McNary
Beach above McNary Dam. A SAGE THRASHER was at Powell Butte December 12.
Recently a WESTERN GREBE was in Bend. Up to 70 EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVES are
now being seen in Sisters.
