The official count season began yesterday, but most of the counts
won't be starting until this weekend. The weather prognosticators
have given up on anything specific about timing, opting for generally
wet and cold more than 12hrs out. Weather forecasts call for rain
west of the Cascades, snow to the east. No flood watches, no blow-out
wind storms, though given the tornado that touched down near Salem
earlier this week, the possible thunderstorms may be something to watch...

Be safe. Dress in layers. Consider helping out on a count you've
never done before.
