MerryLynn and I went out on a scouting tour of the Walla Walla CBC area this afternoon. There was about one inch of snow on the ground and 30 degrees F, Birds of note located today........

Townsends Solitare......1bird along Biscuit Ridge Rd.
Wild Turkey.................... 70+ birds, Mill Creek Rd. & Biscuit Ridge Rd.
N. Pygmy Owl................ 1 ad. along Biscuit Ridge Rd.
Great Horned Owl......... 1 ad. along Biscuit Ridge Rd.
N. Shrike.........................1 ad. Bennington Lake
Coopers Hawk............... 2 sub. ad. along Mill Creek Rd.
Bohemian Waxwings.....150+ along Biscuit Ridge Rd.

Plus scores of juncos. Our CBC is in the morning here in Walla Walla starting at 7:30 AM at Harper Joy Theater Parking Lot on the Whitman College Campus. All are welcome!
