To the keepers of the Lewis and Grays Harbor County lists I'm curious if you
have a WESTERN SCREECH OWL for the year list. Jerry Swena and I went owling
tonight and we had the owl in both counties. We also had a NORTH SAW-WHET
OWL in Grays Harbor County. The two Grays Harbor County owls were on the
Elma Gate Rd. just west of Oakville. The Lewis County Screech Owl was on
Harmon Rd under the power lines just outside of Napavine. Tried for the
Saw-Whet in Thurston Co. but no luck. Expect to try again one more time
this week or next doing a late night run. Ifwe do I will give a give the
results.
