Last Saturday (12/18) i had the pleasure of counting birds for the Eastside
Audubon's CBC. Highlight was a Peregrine falcon flushing a small group of
waterfowl in a flooded field south of Carnation. Sunday spotted two bald
eagles overlooking the Snohomish River at the Highway 203 bridge headed
northbound into Monroe. On the return trip, spotted a Harrier working the
fields just north of Monroe along Highway 2. Not to mention a number of red
tailed hawks along this corridor.
