Others have mentioned snow buntings on Ediz Hook off and on for a couple of weeks, and, sure enough, there were two very tame individuals just W. of the public rest room near where the parking area narrows. When I saw them, they were foraging near driftwood logs S. of the road, but according to a young man named Cassidy in a birding group scanning the Strait, they had been flying back and forth across the road on both sides at that location for at least an hour.

Also, when we arrived home adjacent to Graysmarsh Farm, a lone band-tailed pigeon made an appearance, a first at our feeders.
