Hi,

Ted Peterson, Connie and I left Edmonds on Sunday to try and see the Brown Shrike in Mckinleyville, CA. It was a 10.5 hour drive with minimal stops. On Monday morning we had good weather to start the day and the bird showed up between the two ponds after about an hour. We had several good looks at the bird.

We saw a few other good CA birds and have just arrived back home after a rainy drive.

A great trip.
