This morning at Juanita Bay Park I saw an Eared Grebe out in the bay.
This was my first sighting there and only the second that I'm aware of
(the other was around ten years ago). There were also several Evening
Grosbeaks and 21 Trumpeter Swans, the most swans I've ever seen in the
bay. Last week there were two Eurasian Wigeon. I didn't see them
today in my quick visit, but they may well have been there.
