An interesting article in the NY Times on Northern Hemisphere winter weather
patterns and predictability based on Siberian autumnal snowfall.

If this pattern holds true, may we see if there's a correlation between
Siberian vagrancy occurrence along the Pacific Coast (the Queen Charlotte
Islands/Haida Gwaii being the perfect test-bed) and the Arctic Oscillation?
