To all:

Although we still do not quite have all reports, the Everett-Marysville CBC, held Saturday, Dec. 18, has 129 species recorded thus far.
Windy conditions definitely affected us as far as counts of some species and the overall species count is down compared to the last
two years. Rick and Tina Taylor clearly had the best day working north Everett (Area 12). We were lucky to have the boat party go
out, but our two kayakers could not make it. There were a number of misses, but highlights included:

5 goose sp including Gr WF Goose 2 (Everett waterfront, Biringer farm)
apparent highs for N. Pintail and Ruddy Duck at sewage ponds
10 shorebird sp including SEMIPALMATED PLOVER 2 (Rick & Tina Taylor, ph, details, only 2nd for CBC in n. Everett)
10 gull sp including single HEERMANN'S and GLAUCOUS GULLS in n. Everett (Rick & Tina Taylor), apparent record-high
for Herring Gull
W. SCRUB-JAY 3 (plus another count-week)--two in n. Everett (Rick & Tina Taylor), one on Tulalip Res (Maxine Reid)
--first for CBC but reflective of regional trend
