hi rob:

can't find yr email address in post, so drop me a line and maybe we can hook
up some monday. i suspect you were driving as a normal person, not a
birder, on samish flats not to see raptors in early february. last friday
at the spot you spoke of with dunlin there were three half-heartedly hunting
peregrines (does anybody know where there's a definitive statement on
peregrine subspecies -- i swear the adult was a peale's [didn't look at all
like the anatums at sno-falls]) a northern harrier female and several
redtails, a rough leg and a juvenile bald eagle.
