Our local eagles are in heat and have been going nuts for several days. You cannot walk along the two mile stretch of waterfront from the off leash dog beach below Point Edwards north to Sunset Ave. without seeing at least two of them doing courtship circles in the sky overhead.???

Non-eagle attractions included taking photos of a sharp shinned hawk (with a band on its left leg) standing beside?Willow Creek below the fish hatchery and photographing male and female red winged black birds from the walkway on the north side of the marsh.?
