Hi, Tweeters! I checked out the Bridgeport State Park today and did NOT
find the Saw Whet Owl. The park is a "construction site", as they are
digging wells for the new fish hatchery going in, back up by the dam. So,
you must park at the golf course and walk in, after you sign a sheet of
paper. Besides the noise from the well drilling, the park staff have been
cutting down trees and/or limbing trees. Maybe all that noise sent the
owl packing; or maybe, I just missed it. The Wenatchee Audubon group will
be out and about on Sat. Maybe we will run into each other. Happy
