Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday February 11. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

BROWN PELICANS continue along the coast. RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS are now
arriving along the southern Oregon coast. The first migrant BAND-TAILED
PIGEON was at Waldport February 6. On February 9 about 40 TREE SWALLOWS were
over Fern Ridge Reservoir. One was at Baskett Slough NWR February 10. On
February 8 an ANNA?S HUMMINGBIRD on a nest was seen at Oaks Bottom in
Portland.

On February 6 a ROCK SANDPIPER was on the North Spit of Coos Bay, four were
on the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay February 7, and two were photographed
February 5 on Barview Jetty at Tillamook Bay. A PALM WARBLER was along Fenk
Road near Tillamook February 5. The Nehalem Sewage Ponds MOCKINGBIRD
continues to be seen. Among 650 AMERICAN WIGEON along Wireless Road near
Astoria February 5 were six EURASIAN WIGEON.

On February 8 a SAGE SPARROW was photographed near Vancouver Lake north of
Vancouver. A HARLAN?S HAWK was photographed February 9 over nearby
Ridgefield NWR. An early OSPREY was seen February 6 over Sturgeon Lake on
Sauvie Island. On February 5 a BRANT was at the Fern Hill Wetlands.
