hi all ... spent 2 days along LaFramboise Road at Shillapoo Wildlife
Area (south of Vancouver Lake) looking for the Sage Sparrow spotted
last week by Scott Carpenter ... saturday produced NOTHING ... I was
there between 2:00 and 5:00 ... but today SUCCESS !!!!!!!!! ... I was
there between 12:30 and 3:00 ... today at about 2:15 I spotted him in
the long blackberry thicket on the right (east) side before you enter
the locking gate to the wildlife area ... today he was just with a
Lincoln's Sparrow, a Bewick's Wren, and a male House Finch ... no
flock of Golden or White-crowns as he was when Scott spotted him ...

it was said last years Sage Sparrow at Ridgefield was the first
record of one in Clark County ... so, does this make only the second
??? ... Wilson ??? ...
