Stopped by Drano Lake - mouth of Little White Salmon River (Columbia River backwater) on Sunday where four (4) male Barrow's Goldeneyes (one immature) were vying for the attention of two females. Very entertaining! If the vocalization I wanted to attribute to them was actually them -- what an amazing sound!
