Birders from the UW Retirement Association birded Edmonds this morning, with
weather better than predicted.
Fishing pier:
red-breasted mergansers
common and Barrow's goldeneyes
pigeon guillimots (both plumages)
horned & red=necked grebes
pelagic cormorant
glaucous-winged & a smaller gull we couldn't ID
surf scoters
Canada geese
Marsh:
bushtits
yellow-rumped warblers
anna's hummingbird
black-capped chickadees
Water street:
black scoters
red-breasted mergansers
Barrow's goldeneyes
Brant (big flock close to shore about half way back toward ferry dock &
jetty).
And probably some others I'm overlooking
