I have spotted the Edmonds eagles (four adults and at least two juvies)?regularly at the following locations (south to north):
1)the tallest fir?tree at the summit of Pine Street on Point Edwards.? The tree is on the?Edmods-Woodway border.
2) the tallest fir trees on the fish hatchery grounds, located?on Pine Street.
3) drinking water the Edmonds marsh
4) the marina breakwater between moorings ("boat garages") F-G and on the tops of boat masts in the same area.
5) the piling (tall pole) between the north marina breakwater and the ferry dock
6) a tall fir tree on Edmonds St near its intersection with Sunset Ave.
7) the tall fir trees off Caspers St. on the north end of Sunset Ave.

If you like to walk, you can park your car at the parking lot near the fishing pier and cover locations #3-7 on foot.??The distance from location #1 to location #7 is about one mile as the eagle flys, but the marsh prevents you from walking it in a straight line.??? You can see many of the locations from many of the other locations, which saves time looking around. ?

I have not noticed?the eagles favoring any particular time of day.? ?

Subject: [Tweeters] An Edmonds photo day

Hi BIll,

I am just getting into eagle photography and live down in Seattle...Can you let me know more about where some good places to go are? I saw your post about Edmonds and Sunset Ave? And are there better times of the day to go?
I attached a map of Edmonds as a reference?

Thanks in advance for any specific suggestions :)

Cheers,
